We've got a very simple website where passengers can book their tickets, and contains all the flight information. However, every single day we get customers booking who have problems or queries when booking, usually via something very simple such as selecting bags when they don't want bags, or choosing the wrong flight time. You know, obvious things that someone who isn't too great with computers will have trouble with.
Of course, then we have the extra special ones.
"My wife booked my ticket to the Isle of Man, but my meeting is in the Isle of Wight. I want a refund"
"No. Our terms and conditions state that all fares are non refundable"
"But I want a refund"
"No"
"I've just tried to book a flight on your website, but it's saying my credit card details are incorrect"
"Try going back to the start of the booking, and putting them in again"
"It's all your websites fault!"
"When it says confirm email address, what's a confirm email address?"
"When I checked earlier, the flights were only <low price> but now they are <higher price>, I demand you give me them for the lower price"
"Your website says flights to <destination> are just £19. Why does tomorrows flight cost ten times that?!"
"Seats are assigned on a first come first serve basis, the cheapest seats are always available when booking in advance. The closer your get to the time of the flight, the more expensive they will be.
"That's not very fair, is it?"
"I flew to Spain for 50p with Ryanair! You are just flying for twenty minutes, why are you so expensive?!" Passenger trying to book a £15 fare off the island.
